Bright Green Leadership provides the tools and resources for green business to grow. Our goal is for our website to be the number one place online for the owners, executives and professionals who run or work for green business to get cutting edge ideas and strategies for selling more of their products and services. We also want to promote Environmental Education like the Green MBA
We want to mobilize and support businesses to solve our urgent environmental challenges from climate change to water shortages. Successful Green Business provides the technology, the finance, the talent and the momentum to effect rapid change. Without the commitment of CEOs, senior executives, entrepreneurs, investors and other leaders it is difficult to envisage how we can make progress.
Bright Green leaders are different to other leaders on account of their dual purpose. They provide leadership for their organizations and also for the environmental movement as a whole. Fortunately this offers the promise of compelling win-wins for businesses. An endless number of green business opportunities offer entrepreneurs and corporations the potential for achieving their financial objectives, and also promoting sustainability. You can make money and help the planet at the same time. There is plenty of evidence that more and more consumers want to buy Eco-friendly products, and that sustainability is good for the bottom line, for employee morale and for attracting talent.
In business, Bright Green Leaders focus on creating a compelling vision of these win-wins. They also provide clear direction; develop powerful strategies and seek to transform the way business is conducted. Above all, they help provide meaning and purpose to their employees as they all work together to help increase profits while mitigating climate change and helping to restore the health of our ecosystems.
Our mission is to identify and mentor such leaders, and help promote green business, green branding and green marketing. So in 2007 Paul Hannam, our founder and President, set up Bright Green Talent in the UK with a young entrepreneur he met at Oxford, Tom Savage. Tom was voted the UK’s young social entrepreneur of the year in 2007, and is definitely a Bright Green Leader.
They both decided that the best use of their energies and skills was to recruit current and future Bright Green Leaders for clients on both sides of the Atlantic. They work with corporations, star-ups, NGOs and government with a strong commitment to the environment and corporate social responsibility. We have also set up an office in California, and with their third partner, Nick Ellis, are encouraging the brightest and best of our respective generations to dedicate their careers to promoting sustainability.
Bright Green Leadership continues this work, and is dedicated to helping green business and non profits improve their green marketing and green branding. We believe that all responsible organizations need help with their green marketing online to use the internet to its full potential for branding, lead generation and sales. Most, if not all, green businesses could greatly improve their profitability by really harnessing and leveraging the extraordinary power of the web, and we are going to provide all the tools that they need to achieve this. Most conscious consumers go online to find what they need, and it is essential that socially and environmentally responsible businesses are visible whether on Google, You Tube, Facebook or anywhere else
We work with a number of health businesses who are looking to make a positive difference too. For example we recommend the sustainably made fair trade products at Banyan Botanicals like Shatavari and Sesame Oil. You should also take a look at natural melatonin if you want to get a good night’s sleep.
In our green business section we will be listing services and products that we like, and that represent the principles of Bright Green Leadership. The first of these include Green Jobs and Green Business Certification.
